What is Gully Water Jetting?
Water jetting is a process by which a very high pressure hosing system is inserted into a gully, pipe or sewer and water under very high pressure is blasted into the pipe to clear away and disperse any debris that has been obstructing the pipe and which is then carried away by the main sewer, or trapped and removed further down the drain and at a later access point in the system.
How often does a Gully need Cleaning?
Unless the gully is sited among trees or other woodland, a place particularly susceptible to flooding, or a place where public litter is often disposed of near a gully, then we would advise checking the gully for debris and leaves just twice per year. But if sited elsewhere as described it may be wise to have the gully inspected 3 to 5 times per year. Please ask about our gully maintenance service.
